Pop singer Austin Mahone is on the mend after an illness forced him to cancel a tour last week.
The 17-year-old's rep has told HollywoodLife.com that he is now "home from the hospital" and "recovering."
Austin updated fans briefly on Monday, with a tweet reading "I'm alive" and another adding "Hope I haven't let anyone down."
The singer was supposed to headline the MTV Artist To Watch tour, but was hospitalized with a triple-digit fever the day it was scheduled to kick off. It was later revealed that he was suffering from "extreme inflammation" and a blood clot in his throat.
The tour dates have yet to be rescheduled, but says it won't start until 2014.
