20 students and a security officer were injured yesterday morning when a 16-year-old sophomore allegedly stabbed his fellow classmates with two kitchen knives. It happened at Franklin Regional Senior High School in Murrysville, Pennsylvania. We’re hearing so many stories about students protecting each other and staying to protect their friends. But assistant principal Sam King is being called a hero: he actually tackled the suspect to end the whole ordeal. Four of those injured are in critical condition. The suspect will be tried as an adult.
There was also a horrible moment at a Florida daycare yesterday. A car crashed through the wall of a daycare in Winter Park, Florida. One girl was killed and 14 more were injured. Police are looking for the driver of the SUV that pushed the car into the building.
Another cruise ship has drama: At least 66 passengers and 17 crew members are sick aboard Princess Cruise’s Crown Princess. Cruise officials believe they all have the norovirus. The sickos are being quarantined in their cabins and the ship is being sanitized.
