Republican mayoral candidate Joe Lhota joined "The John Gambling Show" on Tuesday and continued to warn voters what might happen if Bill de Blasio is elected mayor.
Lhota said that de Blasio's plan to tax the rich to fund universal pre-kindergarten education won't just affect the rich, instead it will be felt throughout the middle class. "I've told the middle class in this city over and over again, hold onto your wallets, if this guy becomes mayor he's coming after you." You can listen to Joe Lhota on "The John Gambling Show" below.
De Blasio continues to hold leads of 40 percent and higher over Lhota in recent mayoral polls. The two will square off in their final debate on Wednesday night, which can be heard on WOR 710, starting at 7pm. Election day is Nov. 5.
